“I had a wonderful experience with Debbie and April from Northeast Doulas. From the very beginning Debbie was patient and helpful in paring me with the right postpartum doula. She answered all of our questions on many occasions and kept in contact throughout my pregnancy and the first three months. April was our postpartum doula and she was fantastic! I was a bit nervous about having a complete stranger come to my house and help during an intimate and high stress time but it was the best thing ever. April fit right into our family — even my toddler loved her! We immediately fell into a great routine. The best days were when April came. I’d highly recommend her. My only regret was not hiring a postpartum doula the first time around. April was very attentive to all our needs. I wish I could have kept her forever. She made sure we were all rested, fed and hydrated. She never took a break during her shifts. She always found something to do whether it was playing with my toddler when I was nursing the baby or watching both of so I could take a break. We miss April dearly! She is kind, empathetic, helpful and really great with newborns and toddlers.”
