Kelly Durkin

Kelly Durkin comes with a non-judgemental policy.  Kelly is there to be a sounding board with any type of question or concern.

Kelly brings a sense of calm knowledge & peace when things can feel overwhelming and a little out of control. Healthcare is where she started and is still involved.  Currently, Kelly is providing private duty in a hospital setting. Doula support has been her love and desire. Kelly is thrilled to be able to continue her passion by moving back to NY from North Carolina.  Northeast Doulas is thrilled to have Kelly back.  Kelly was the first doula brought on board 17 years ago. Along with doula work, Kelly has worked at Mother/Baby and Trauma units through the years. Doula work by far is her passion.

Kelly offers both labor and postpartum support. Kelly’s flexibility allows her to provide overnight, day shifts, and live-in care as needed. Kelly and her husband are raising 3 growing children in middle school and above. Kelly has been on both sides of healthcare as two of her children have type 1 Diabetes and her husband has MS.
