Last Wednesday Northeast Doulas headed to Dutchess Stadium to raise awareness and collect donations for No Child Wet Behind at The Renegades baseball game! The Renegades' 'Collection for a Cause' program allows non-profits the chance to meet local families and spread the word about their cause.
Northeast Doulas was proud to partner with The Renegades to offer families $1 admission tickets for every pack of diapers they donated to the No Child Wet Behind non-profit organization. Collections from this event went directly to the Westchester Diaper Bank and into the hands of families desperately in need of diapers for their children.
Co-owner of Northeast Doulas, Debbie Aglietti even threw the first pitch! She’s the 2017 draft pick with her Renegades hat on.
"We had an amazing time and appreciated the support we received by stadium goers, staff and the players themselves" said Debbie.
Debbie and Randy even made a new friend! It’s impossible to not love Rascal the Raccoon.
This was an amazing event that harnessed the power of compassionate families in the area to come together and collect precious resources for local families.
Dutchess Stadium and the Renegades are able to connect with families and children in such a powerful way, by creating a safe and encouraging environment for kids to have fun. We look forward to working with them in the future to help give back to little ones in need right here in the Hudson Valley.
We applaud the Hudson Valley Renegades and the generosity of the folks at Dutchess Stadium for their dedication to our cause and their constant drive to make a difference in our community.
